Impala (Saddle Back)

Saddle Back Impalas are medium-sized antelopes that roam the savanna and light woodlands of eastern and southern Africa. In the rainy season, when food is plentiful, they may gather in large herds of several hundred animals to browse on grasses and herbs, bushes, shrubs… Impala travel in herds so you have to avoid many sets of eyes, noses, and ears to evade detection. When spooked Impalas bolt and can reach speeds of up to 56 mph. They can leap 10-ft in the air and typically jump anything in their path.
